‘Tis the season for back to school and all things pumpkin spice! You can smell chai tea and pencil sharpenings in the air. Welcome back to my party! I’m so glad you could make it. I can’t believe it is already almost the end of September. August really did slip away into a moment in time and here we are 105 days away until the new year. Finally, admist the hustle and bustle of life, working, creating, collaborating, auditioning, and finding my way in this new chapter of life, I decided to take a moment to breathe and get back to my “get-together.” So.. let’s get this party started!
Let’s talk about summer for a minute, shall we? This was one of the best summers I’ve had in such a long time. Los Angeles and California is such a fun place anytime of the year but especially in the summertime. I had a lot of fun opportunities such as working on my first real film set, going to Amazon Prime’s FYC Fest, attending Benefit Cosmetics’ Gimme Pink Roller-Rink, and going to the Santa Monica Pier for the first time (which I was especially excited about since one of my favorite films Hannah Montana: The Movie was filmed there and one of my former acting teachers was in that film!!) and the best part is that I got share some of these moments with my best friend and sister all in one, Chloe Renee.
*Here's a fun little reel I made on my Instagram of my summer recap, if you would like to check it out!
Usually, this time of year I’d be sad about the end of summer and preparing for the start of school so it’s kind of weird knowing that I won’t be going back to school this year. I remember when I was little kid, I was always so eager to pick out my backpack and my school supplies (I distinctly remember my first backpack I ever got had Dora the Explorer on it. I was probably more excited about the design than the backpack itself). What I have found however, is that just because you no longer have the title as a “student” really you will always be a “student” because in life you learn new things every day. While life has been a grind lately it is well worth it. October through January is my favorite time of the year because of all the fun holidays we get to celebrate with family and friends and I have a few projects that I’ve been working on that I can’t wait until I can finally share what they are with you. In the meantime, from the bottom of my heart, I hope that you are safe, healthy, and finding happiness in every day. ‘Tis the season to be jolly and I can’t wait to see what life throws my way next.
